Differences for various readers:

Lj users: you just have to add the comm and watch it. The entries will appear on your friends page as usual
Myspace users: I'll link to the new entries, so no change there
Onlinecomics users: (if I have many): I'll change the link, the site will look the same so it should all be easy
People who have this page bookmarked: Move your bookmark to the new page. Otherwise the site will look and be the same.

I'm moving to a comm so that I can have actual mods with powers. Examples of such powers would be the power to ban lj users who cause trouble (not that I've had any), to unscreen anon comments, and to post in my absence without needing my password.

I'm currently keeping both accounts Basic and unpaid. Due to laziness. However am still considering moodtheme

Old toons will stay archived here. Not much point in moving them all if I'm keeping the LJ to post with.

Obviously the mod I now have is lapifors . I may add some. I'll keep you posted.

In other news! I got my laptop back today, and all my data is STILL ON THERE. YES! YES! I still ha all my full sized photoshop files etc. *dance* and its FASTER than this machine. And has CS2.

....just for those who like to know these things.

Before anyone complains - I have a toon in front of me and am working on it. I had a backlog of things in my email account this week, and I just waded through it all. Hence this:

What do you think of me making this a members only community. (By creating one and posting to it) I'd probably make it a paid one. And I would wipe all other accounts I have, probably including myspace. Because the feed would be rendered useless if you had no lj account.

Pros
I love lj.
Less work for me.
I could add people in as actual mods and they could post extra things
Members only has a snazzy feel to it
Might cut down on assoles posting my toons and giving me attitude afterwards. But only the new toons.
I'm considering getting a paid one. I could get actual polls and can anybody say...
CUSTOM MOOD THEME?...if I did a paid one.

Cons
You'd need an lj account. I'd hate to inconvienience you like that, I KNOW what its like to have accounts everywhere
Would not completely stop the toon stealing, but i'd know it was one of youuuuuuuu O_o

That's all I can think of now. GIve me your opinions, they will count and I value them :)

VOTE YES OR NO HERE - if you say no I want to know WHY please :) it could be something I could work around

YAY DS! Thats both games I have for it ...so the game theme may end ....for now.

Also on the subject of aol - that vote thing has caused much URGH in various places, due to being posted a lot. Fandom is tricky business? I'm glad the worst arguement we've had here is whether macs are better than pcs. XD And as you should all know, my answer is both are good.

So I was voting for MCR for AOL sessions under cover (aka accoustic)...and then it bacame a tie with Yellowcard. Whilst futiley clicking and not making much difference it occured to me that I know a few people here who might enjoy the challenge of breaking a tie...

I cannot be bothered with Buzznet any more to be completely honest. In fact at times I feel like I cannot be bothered with the internet in general and all the assholes and drama on it. But then I have to remember the good people. Let's form a club! Hahaha.

Part 3 is there simply because...I thought the way Macs looked was a big selling point. If a Mac looked like it was wearing a jumper? Even a hip cool one? I wouldn't buy one. XDDD

Now I normally keep my opinion out of here, because...well, most opinions on MCR related things cause drama, and I only really have strong ones on their music XD However, I went to see Spiderman 3 last night, and THE MAC ADVERT WAS ON. AGAIN. I HATE THEM. I feel obligated to give the unbiased truth about Macs and PCs as I know it, tackling one lie at a time. I love my PC...even if it did break. (LOL say the Mac users...but NO, says I. It was simply the wire to the screen breaking, which I was told happens to ALL brands. so NYER NYER)
So, I have enlisted MiniFrank and MiniRay to help me.

Urgh, handwriting. Tell me if its illegible and I'll tackle paint shop pro. (I haven't used it for AGES.)

Do feel free to
a) support your Mac or PC in a non drama way
b) nominate another point the Mac adverts make for me to consider tooning
c) tell me what YOU think....in a non drama way.

And, while I wait for imageshack to loadddd...who has read the Umbrella Academy? I read it on chemicalromance <3 and I LOVE it (so far). I already fanart-d the Rumor and put her on my dA, if you're ~~interested~~ bored. I did rather love her power.

Just to make it clear, although I am primarily a PC user, I have worked on and can use BOTH Macs and PCs. I feel that both are good and its just a matter of personal preference. kay?

Update on the laptop

Hello, Kirsty here on a yoinked laptop. Yep, mine broke...or more accurately, the screen broke and went blank when I restarted it. Also the on button has been dodgy for a while and so has the wireless >>

ANYWAY...I figured since I MADE this freakin toon I'm going to POST it. You have NO idea how lucky you are that I uploaded it before the laptop died lol. It's quite possible that my laptop will be wiped.

This is for kireina and her friends, stuck waiting for the postponed gig. Also, anyone else in the same circumstances. I was joking asked for a toon involving a rusty pipe and...

I <3 my flatmate for letting me go on her laptop.

Hopefully I shall have my Dad's laptop on Saturday. However it lacks photoshop and other things so, well, we shall see...

That's right folks, her laptop is dead. Which is more of a worry because all of her University work is on there, but also I miss her. I'm sure we all will! She will hopefully return within 28 days, or she gets a new laptop, or something. I wasn't really listening due to eating.

A random question, if me and Kirsty collaborated and did a big graphic novel together (I tend to write stuff) would anyone be interested in reading it/seeing it/buying it/eating it/and so on? Think Neil Gaiman style work. (I'm trying to persuade her how fantastic a team we would make in such a mission).

Do's and don't concerning my cartoons. (This makes me sound so up myself...most of it is common sense though)

I encourage:
+Use of my icons, and the colourbars people have made for me. All I ask is for credit, usually in the form of a link to here.
+Linking to my comic pages. Spread the love!

I discourage:
- Posting my toons on your own website. Please, just don't. Not only because they are MINE ALL MINE D:....but also because here they're all in the archives, in order. Its easier to read them this way, I hope.
- Using my toon in videos, fics (esp. slash...the point of MiniMCR is it's a...generally...innocent bastion of hope in MCR's fandom...or something)

Strange grey areas:
~Copying my toons. I don't mind people copying them for the artistic experience (LOL, I'm not sure what you get out of copying cartoons though...I'd recommend life drawing) as long as they admit its a copy and again, credit me.

I do NOT want people to copy my cartoons, and claim the idea was theirs. Even if you change a few words, it's still just...lame. You don't get anything out of it, so just don't bother.

That said, I'm pretty sure that the vast majority of you guys already knew all that. Thank you so much for your patience and also, for the people who do defend various stolen cartoons.

They're just silly cartoons, I know, but eh, there is so much copyright breach and such on the internet...I may as well start by trying to keep a hold of my cartoons.

I've totally revamped it, it should now be easier to navigate, because I tagged each entry (except the ones without anything interesting in) so if you go OH, what was that toon with fangirls in? Go to the main page, look in the tags and click fangirls. Simple huh?

Also I have new places to play with adding new pictures on the layout...one is obvious...the other you have to find. Scrolling is your friend!

GAH I love this new layout so much. *dance*

They say all good things come to an end. And I'm afraid that applies to MiniMCR. I'm tired of chasing my cartoons around the internet and trying to keep them in one place, and university work is taking up my time. I need to dedicate myself to it, rather than this.

Thanks to all your guys who have supported me for over a year :O. I also send major thanks to lapifors, for stalking minimcr like an evil arch lord and for doing voiceovers, Saz for letting me put her in my comics, and everyone who has sent me fanart or any messages of love. <3

If only people hadn't posted my pictures around on Buzznet, Myspace and their own sites I might reconsider this. But what is the point in putting your artwork online if it gets removed from context and posted somewhere with no credit? Also it means other people cannot find this site and the other toons, which mans my hard work is for nothing.
However, I'll leave this journal up for people to read, following the example of iharthdarth.
